Art+Feminism and Silver Eye Center for Photography invites you to attend an Art+Feminism MeetUp and networking event on Friday, April 12, 6.00-8.00 pm (ET) at the Lab @ Silver Eye Education Center. In celebration of the 2024 Art+Feminism campaign, and in conjunction with the exhibition o_ Man! at Silver Eye Center for Photography, join us for lightning talks and Wikipedia workshops, browse the Silver Eye Library, and more! This collaboration is inspired by Art+Feminism’s mission and exhibiting artists Kelli Connell and Natalie Krick’s commitment to questioning privileged authorships in art history. Learn more about Art+Feminism’s international community, Silver Eye’s programs, and how to improve documentation on the biographies of Pittsburgh-based women photographers! Refreshments and light snacks will be provided. Participants are encouraged to view o_ Man! at Silver Eye’s main gallery before the event. The main gallery is situated at 4808 Penn Avenue, approx seven minutes walk away from The Lab @ Silver Eye.
